Aaron photographed our wedding at Big Cedar Lodge which is 4 hours away from where we live in St. Louis. Being an out of town wedding I was anxious about not meeting our photographer until the day of, however Aaron immediately calmed my nerves the first time we spoke. He was beyond helpful with answering all of my, almost daily, questions but more importantly he was so friendly, upbeat & genuine which put me at ease. We planned on having a firework display after Aaron was scheduled to leave so he spoke with our photographer friend who was in the wedding on the best ways to shoot fireworks since he couldn't be there which was above & beyond what he expected from him.
We absolutely loved Aaron! He was so much fun to work with. He's funny, reliable, and has a super fast turn around time on his amazing photos. He's all around the best and remains a big part of our wedding day memories. I will always recommend him as my wedding photography go-to-guy in Springfield.
Most importantly we couldn't have been happier with how the pictures turned out from the chapel to the wedding party to the Bride & Groom pictures at sunset over the lake; he captured our day perfectly. He took our picture holding a Thank You sign which was included on the front of our thank yous & we've received so many compliments from our guests on how beautiful the picture was. It was such a nice photo to be able to share with our guests after the day was over.
What we, including our wedding party, loved most was how easy going & FUN Aaron was. He was up for any of our ideas & had some great ones of his own; not to mention the banter he had with the groomsmen was entertaining in itself.
If you are looking for a photographer to snap photos of your big day we HIGHLY recommend Aaron!
When we arrived to the chapel he was the first one I saw, snapping away photos of me & the bridesmaids as we exited the limo. He had already met with the guys for some casual shots before, set up inside the chapel & was on his way over to the bridal suite to take pictures of the ladies. Not having to worry about where & when our photographer was going to be somewhere such as our entrance into the reception or the first dance, rather just having him show up as needed made the day that much less stressful for me as a bride.
We had the best experience with Aaron Clark Photography! Soon after our engagement, we contacted Aaron to photograph our wedding. He was booked on our big day, but quickly offered his assistant, Allison Matthews! Aaron showed us Allison's beautiful portfolio and was very confident in her skills as a photographer. We trusted Aaron and hired Allison. Quickly, we saw why Aaron had her as his assistant; she was wonderful! Allison was fun to work with and took beautiful engagement/ wedding pictures for us. Aaron was still very involved in the process, including editing our pictures. We highly recommend Aaron Clark Photography!
We worked with Aaron for our engagement pictures and our wedding, and I can't say enough about how great he was! Aaron did a wonderful job at keeping the day light and fun and captured absolutely beautiful photos. He made sure to get all the specific shots I asked for plus hundreds more. He was easy to contact, easy to work with, and always fun to be around. Aaron was also extremely quick at getting our photos back to us with both the engagement photos and our wedding photos.
